Dr. Tim Stoddard is the clinical director for Milestones. He offers a complete range of psychiatric and psychological care including medication management.
Dr. Stoddard graduated from Washington State University.
He graduated medical school at Georgetown University. Dr.
Stoddard completed four years of psychiatric residency training
through the University of Washington. He is licensed to practice
medicine through the state of Idaho.
"I have a positive and action-oriented
approach to working with people. I
believe in taking responsibility for the
direction of one's life. Psychiatric
symptoms are often reactions to unmet
needs and stressful life events. In
understanding these past and present
conflicts, one is more able to move
towards what one wants for the future.
I see my role as helping to understand
these conflicts, develop a plan for the
future, and support the progress
towards these goals. This is not the
right approach for everyone, but is
what I believe in. As a psychiatrist,
I can prescribe and recommend
medications, but I tend to see them as
a secondary to what is described above.
