At Milestones for Young Adults an enrollment committee
screens all applications for participant's skill level, preparedness
for independent living, and educational direction. Qualified
applicants can be accepted year-round as curriculum is custom
tailored to each student.

Milestones for Young Adults follows a strict and fair admissions
process. Only qualified applicants who fit our profile and are
genuinely committed to a healthy lifestyle are accepted.

Location and Environment
Milestones for Young Adults is based in the resort town of Coeur D' Alene, Idaho. Coeur D' Alene proviedes
a small-town atmosphere with all the amenities of a travel destination, including museums, hiking, water-
sports, and skiing. There are many education, work and volunteer service opportunities in Coeur D' Alene,
and spokane Washington is only 30 miles away.
Milestones for Young Adults participants share a two or three bedroom apartment in a family oriented
appartment complex. Managers of the complex are friendly and supportive; they maintain high standards
for all residents in a drug-free environment. This community within a community features a club-house, spa,
exercise room and community room with computer access. The apartments are located centrally for easy
access to shopping malls, super-markets, medical, dental and clinical practioners.
At North Idaho College, students can pursue higher education, finish High School degree requirements and
interact with other students in the community. Local and national businesses and professional organizations
provide students with varied opportunities for employment and volunteer activities. In addition, Milestones
for Young Adults participants have access to the rich educational work opportunities of Spokane.
