Pamela Broker
Pamela has dedicated her life to teaching adolescents and young adults how to live healthy abundant lives. She has
worked with young people and their families for over 14 years. Her professional journey has been rich and rewarding
in working with the best organizations in the industry of emotional growth education. Pamela worked with CEDU for over
a decade and now is the C.E.O./Director of Milestones For Young Adults. Her resume includes being the Director for a
private emotional growth high school, Executive Director of Admissions for CEDU Family of Services and Director of the
Family Resource Department for CEDU Family of Services. Her passion lies in teaching young people the skills of using
the tools they have acquired to impact their lives in a positive healthy way. Pamela attended Eastern Washington
University where she studied business administration and philosophy. She lives her life as student and has fervent passion for emotional growth education and biblical studies. Pamela has four sons and a grandson, she brings her life experiences along with her education and professional experiences to her life's work. Prior to working in the industry, Pamela enjoyed a successful career in the business sector as a Personal Banker and Public Relations Liason. She believes
everything she has experienced both personally and professionally has brought her to this point in time and brings that
passion to her work. Pamela has been the Director for Milestones for over 8 years.
Trisha Maddy
Trisha Maddy has worked with at risk adolescents and young adults for over 16 years. She began as a wilderness instructor for an adjudicated program working with inner-city youth. She led wilderness trips that consisted of back-packing, rock-climbing, white-water rafting and spelunking. When Trisha's life journey brought her to Idaho, she went to work for the Ascent Program, which is a 6 week therapeutic wilderness program. Trisha excelled at her work with adolescents for 10 years and then came to work with young adults at Milestones. She has spent the past 2 years using her knowledge of experiential education to work with young adults. She is highly trusted by the young people she works with. She is committed to challenging students to push past their own perceived limitations in order to build success in their lives.
Supervision
Milestones For Young Adults counselors are referred to as mentors as they are models and supporters. They provide positive re-
inforcement and inspire young adults to grow. They equip and motivate participants to step out on their own while providing a
dependable and secure environment to grow and learn in.
Milestones for Young Adults participants are accountable to the schools and organizations that provide education, employment,
and community service opportunities, mentors also visit students at school, at work and in the community to provide and increase
accountability. The result is a structured environment where participants can demonstrate their abilities and maturity, grow and
enjoy the process. They learn the benefits of helping others and the value of earning and managing their own money and life.
